Rental Options You Have for Your Daughter's Backyard Wedding Reception
Does your daughter still live at home with you? If so, you probably have bridal magazines everywhere you look. Even if your daughter is in another city and you are planning her wedding together via emails, texting, and phone calls, there is probably so much to plan in so little time.
If your daughter's wedding dress and all of the attendant's clothes have been purchased, does that also mean that flowers have been ordered, too? Maybe you are now down to planning your daughter's wedding reception. If you are still in the planning stages, from arranging for wedding table rentals to renting other necessary items, here are some ideas that might help you.
Wedding Table Rentals
If you decided to host your daughter's wedding reception right in your back yard, that must mean that you have beautiful landscaping. Even so, there are other things you need to focus on. For example, if you are planning a seated meal for the guests, wedding tables might be at the top of your rental list. The same goes for the chairs you'll need to go with the tables.
The wedding table rental facility will help you to plan how many tables you'll need. For example, if you are planning to serve people at each table, the rental agency might suggest that you will still be able to seat one or two more people at each table and still have ample room. Explain that you want the chairs to be on the elegant side. The agency will probably suggest white wooden chairs that have pretty backs as part of the design. You won't need to add white covers to the chairs, though you might want to tie white ribbons and a spring of flowers on one or both sides of the back of the chair.
Additional Rentals
The same company that rents you the wedding tables and chairs will more than likely be able to supply all of your other wedding reception needs, too. For example, will you be serving champagne punch and plain fruit punch? If so, think of renting elegant silver-plated punch bowls. Table cloths and other linens will probably be available, too.
Besides things you'll need for the table service, find out if the rental agency also has large easels you can use to display your daughter's wedding portrait. Rent small tables that can be covered with a white tablecloth. Those small tables will be a perfect place for things like a guestbook and to hold something like a pretty bad cage or a basket that can be used for guests to place cards they have brought to the newlyweds.
